After serving in the United States Air Force, Mickey Evers decided to use the skills he had learned while overseas. His business venture was called Evers Tin Shop and it specialized in sheet metal, HVAC and roofing work. During the construction of the massive new Murray Manufacturing Plant and subsequent expansions, Evers Tin Shop installed acres and acres of roof as well as ventilation and heating systems.
In 1979, the business was incorporated and the name changed to Evers Construction Company, since by this time, the company was growing and expanding into the construction arena. Mickey Evers, wanting to provide all the services that his customers needed, soon added in-house concrete, electrical and piping crews. Evers Construction had become a truly unique contracting company with a grouping of versatile and highly skilled employees. His goal then, as it the company’s goal today, was to provide customers with whatever services they need, no matter how simple or complex.
Providing quality workmanship, excellent customer service and career opportunities are all part of the basic philosophy that has spurred continued growth and expansion over nearly 7 decades. These values continue through current owners, Bobby, Ryan, and Clint. Evers Construction and it’s 100+ team members is more focused than ever on providing the best possible service to our customers year after year.
